Between winter and spring

Solstice and Equinox/

Introspective, reflective

Tentative/

Fighting against

Native inclinations/

To rest

To be still

And Know/

Reticent to share

The tired, weary

Introverted Self/

With the world

Society makes

This so/

Fighting the urge

To succumb to

The hustle and grind/

Of capitalism

Remaining steadfast, steady/

Harnessing Energy

Returning to Intention/

Resting, surrendering

And resting once more/
