Retrograde, in Mercury
What is this madness? A time for us to see, be alert, be scared of what could happen? Because of some damn planetary alignments?
Venus in Aquarius would like a word – “why put us in this? We love you. It’s you who are falling apart, you who chose this life, you who destroyed Gaia, YOU. We are in these streets trying to save you.”
Conversely, Saturn says: “burn the shit down – I’m messing with your beloved phones and computers and car batteries and ATM machines and Netflix and Goddess forbid, maybe even your internet! What joy and fun it will bring to me because I am all that matters.”
Uranus in Taurus says: “shit’s about to get strange, and I am here for it. Let’s get weird!” Saturn interrupts: “no, not weird, disruptive!”
Gaia expresses that “although Saturn has power and Venus has love and Uranus has unique expression, I have you. I have nature. I have life. I have the Sun/Son/Sol/Soul and I have the Moon/Emotion/Intuition. It is all you need, and I hope that you learn this before you destroy us both.”
After some thought, Mercury declares: “yes to love, power, life, and expression. Disruption, albeit a compelling lesson, is not the way. Your belief is not necessary. You do not need to be saved. But you must look back to move forward. Use this time to reach back to the wealth of knowledge from the past and bring it into the Now to flourish. Witness this time (and all time) from these harmonious spaces.”
Ah yes, I See: this is the cadence of Sankofa.
